Hauliers who are required to drive their prime movers into PSA’s Container Terminals.
OBJECTIVE
At the end of the course, participants would be able to drive prime movers safely inside PSA’s Container Terminals
COVERAGE
• Factors affecting the stability and performance of prime movers
• Types of containers and container markings
• Gate Ops – shipping & delivering containers at PSA
• Yard Ops – procedures for driving into RTG blocks, loading/off-loading containers and driving out of RTG blocks
• Safety tips for turning in & out of RTG yards
• Ship-side Ops – direct delivery, ship side loading/off-loading operations
• Driving safely
• PSA traffic/safety infringement system
END OF COURSE
Upon passing the course test, prime mover drivers with PSA passes will have Code “P” endorsed on the participants’ PSA passes.
